Monsoon Session: Lok Sabha passes Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill 2018 for stringent anti-rape laws

The Lok Sabha today passed the landmark Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill 2018. The bill provides for stringent punishment including death penalty for those convicted of raping girls below the age of 12 years.
